Community Centre 55 offers various children’s programs including: Toddler, Preschool, Nursery School & Jr. Enrichment (2 ½ -4 yrs), Before & After School for children JK – Grade 5.
All programs with the exception of Toddler and Preschool operate on the same schedule as the Toronto District School Board closing; March Break, Summer and Christmas as well as all statutory holidays as laid out by the City of Toronto (CUPE 2998).
We are licensed annually and adhere to all Policies & Procedures as set out by the Ministry of Education in the Child Care Early Years Act (CCEYA) & the City of Toronto’s Children Services, Assessment for Quality Improvement (AQI). These inspections are performed annually and a license is issued upon completion.

Please Note:
The Children’s Licensed Programs follow the Toronto District School Board (TDSB) calendar. Programs are offered on PA days to registered participants for an additional fee.
Community Centre 55 does not offer programs (licensed or camp) during the Christmas or March breaks.
All programs are closed on statutory holidays including Remembrance Day and Easter Monday.
Summer Camp operates during the months of July and August.
